What’s Eclipse?

Together we will create a future where we make blockchains fast by separating the “slow” part of blockchains (consensus) from executing programs (execution) and storing block data (data availability).

With Eclipse, any application can spin out as its own blockchain without increasing its security risk.

The Role

At Eclipse, operational precision is a focal point of the organization as we harmonize internal processes, product delivery, and customer onboarding in parallel. The Chief of Staff - Operations will be at the forefront of creating this infrastructure to set a foundation that will be the catalyst for sustainable growth and scale.

As Chief of Staff you will work side-by-side with the founders to ensure the company is operating efficiently and effectively.  You will be hands-on across the organization on pretty much everything, which will vary widely.

A pretend Tuesday: 9am meeting with the Head of Ecosystem at a major L1 protocol, ship designs for hackathon we’re sponsoring to the agency you onboarded last week, run payroll at some point before 5pm, get V1 of the blog post to the CEO by 1pm before he’s on a flight to NYC, email our investor update, edit documents sent by our new Developer Relations hire.

Responsibilities

Communications (Internal + External):

• Keep the entire organization aligned on strategy, goals, KPIs, and results. You are the go-to person for problem solving and will mitigate challenges proactively to give founders leverage.
• Attend and contribute to meetings related to strategy, create alignment, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Expert at all things operations to communicate effectively with external parties with knowledge of roadmap, growth targets, hiring plan, and other key areas i.e. you are the oracle. This will also include decks, presentations, and press releases.

Performance:

• Your key KPI is help ensure others are meeting their KPIs
• Help define and track goals to optimize processes over time as Eclipse grows i.e. tell us how we can work more efficiently
